Galway Turas Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Galway Turas, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be as fair and flexible as possible while ensuring the smooth operation of our tours. Please read the following terms carefully.

1. Standard Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellations made 7 days or more before the tour date will receive a full refund, minus a €50 administration fee.

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled tour are non-refundable.

  • If a customer does not show up for the tour without prior notice, the booking is considered a no-show, and no refund will be issued.

2. Rescheduling Your Tour
  • If you need to reschedule your tour, you may do so free of charge up to 7 days before the tour date, subject to availability.

  • Rescheduling requests made less than 7 days before the tour will be subject to availability, and changes may not be guaranteed.

  • If rescheduling is not possible, the cancellation policy will apply.

  • To reschedule your tour, please contact Galway Turas by email as soon as possible.

3. Private Tour Cancellation Policy
  • For private tours, cancellations made 7 days or more before the tour date will receive a refund, minus the €50 administration fee.

  • Cancellations within 7 days of the tour will not be eligible for a refund.

  • Rescheduling private tours is subject to availability and should be requested at least 7 days in advance.

4. Bad Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances
  • Tours run in most weather conditions. However, if Galway Turas cancels a tour due to extreme weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as the inability to provide transportation or safety concerns that could compromise the well-being of passengers—including political instability, natural disasters, or health-related emergencies—the Galway Turas may cancel the tour. In such cases, customers will receive a full refund, which will be processed within three working days.
  • If a customer chooses to cancel due to weather conditions, the standard cancellation policy applies.

5. How to Cancel or Reschedule
  • To cancel or modify your booking, please contact Galway Turas as soon as possible via email at info@galwayturas.com.

  • We will do our best to assist you and accommodate changes where possible.
